Krzysztof Kieslowski: at Naples Film Festival the complete retrospective of his works and a photographic exhibition

The Napolifilmfestival (5-11 June 2010), now in its twelfth year, dedicates a big space to the great Polish director Krzysztof Kieslowski. As well as a complete retrospective of his work (from the shorts of the 1970's right up to his later masterpieces) the Napolifilmfestival will hand over a section of the halls in the prestigious Castel SantElmo to an exhibition of stills photographs by Piotr Jaxa, taken on the sets of the "THREE COLOURS" trilogy (Blue, White and Red).
But the real news is that Napolifilmfestival will be the springboard for the launch of six films previously unreleased in Italy: thanks to Alessandro Leone and Paolo di Biagio, the films will now be distributed in Italy from June onwards.
CAMERA BUFF, BLIND CHANCE, NO END, A SHORT FILM ABOUT LOVE, A SHORT FILM ABOUT KILLING and THE CALM will finally be screened in Italy's best film theatres in their original versions with Italian subtitles - a real boon and an opportunity for the Italian public to get to know some real gems of films that bear the hallmarks of the master's deservedly celebrated works.
