Michele Diomà

Type:
Michele Diomà (1983). Film producer and director; at the age of 28 he made his debut as a director in France with a video-art work called "Le dernier rêve de Howard Costello", a project to which RAI NEWS 24 dedicated a special show. Due to the interest raised by his debut film, in 2014 Michele Diomà co-produced and directed the documentary film "Born in the U.S.E.", which was quite famous at an international level thanks to the collaboration of Francesco Rosi in the project. "Born in the U.S.E." was the last work in which the “maestro” of "Le mani sulla città" took part; not only, also the Oscar Prize directors Giuseppe Tornatore and Luis Bacalov were within the same project. In December 2015 the film was chosen by RAI Cinema Channel to celebrate the 120 years since the films were created. In 2016 Michele Diomà finished his work called "Sweet Democracy" which he directed and co-produced. This work gave the opportunity to see the performance of the Nobel prize actor and writer Dario Fo, along with Renato Scarpa and the collaboration with Donald Ranvaud, the producer nominated to the Oscar for City of God.
