A movie directed by Emmanuel Carrère in 2005 from the 1986 novel The Moustache by the same director. With Vincent Lindon, Emmanuelle Devos, Mathieu Amalric, Hippolyte Girardot. The Moustache is a Drama. Marc decide suddenly to cut off his moustache thet he kept since was a boy. The banality of the act will emphasize something much more complex: neither Agnes's wife nor friends notice the change that has taken place. As if he had never have it. When he decides to ask for an opinion, they told to him that the question is absurd: no one has ever seen him with a moustache. Doubt takes over the young man leading him to the risk to loose his mind. Relationships with his wife sneeze to the point that she recommends a psychiatric examination.
