Inspired by real events, Fixeur stages the Radu’s story, a young journalist who works as a apprentice in a newsroom in Bucharest, collaborating with a French television station. The man now feels the need for a career leap and the opportunity seems to arrive when a case breaks out around an international scandal linked to a traffic of juvenile prostitution. Radu decides to act as an intermediary (fixeur) to French colleagues, looking for news in Romania. On the trail of two young girls who had just returned from France, where they prostituted themselves, the man goes to a village in Transylvania to interview the very young Anca. Willing to do anything to bring home the article, Radu throws himself headlong into the investigation, complying with his ambition and the desire to show his talent, but soon he has to deal with that limit beyond which journalism sometimes arrogantly pushes itself.
