Brief synopsis:
A movie directed by Julian Schnabel in 2007,winner of the Best Director Award at the 60th Cannes Film Festival. With Mathieu Amalric, Emmanuelle Seigner, Marie-Josée Croze, Anne Consigny and Patrick Chesnais. Based on Jean-Dominique Bauby's autobiographical poem, The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, in which Bauby describes his life after having stroke at age 43. His brain no longer has any connection to the nervous system. He lost the use of the word and the right eye too. The only kind of communication left is the eyelid blink. He try to find the strength to face the new days. Using his imagination and his memory, remembering the moments of the past and the things he wanted and could do.
