Brief synopsis:
1956, Naples. In the suburbs of the city there is a displaced persons camp where a 11-year-old child, Vittorio, dreams about America while watching the films of the Bolivar Movie Theatre. Two women attract him in particular, the actress Susan Hayward and Ruth, the American wife of a general of NATO, who seduces him. Taken from the novel of the same title published in 1956 and written by Francesco Costa.
