Brief synopsis:
The documentary is a journey through a restless life, the life of a man possessed by music, his artistic and existential journey, between momentary wasting and continuous transformations, frenzied fractures and glittering serenity. The pain and intolerance in the father's house, the wounds of Nazism, the horrors of war. The study of musical composition. And then the music that takes flight, score after score, in the midst of experimentation and tradition, Henze decides to follow a personalized concept of beauty, always ready to cross borders, in politics as in the private.
