A movie directed by Roman Polański ain 2013 and played by Emmanuelle Seigner and Mathieu Amalric, inspired by the novel by Leopold von Sacher-Masoch. At a theater in Paris they have just completed the auditions for a theatrical pièce. While the director of the Opera remained only in the theater, there is a last woman who wants to be the protagonist of the piéce, Vanda. The actress is a vortex of energy, wild and naughty. She does not stop to get the role. The woman, who initially seemed to be uncultured, reveals little by little to be aware of many more things than she left him to imagine . She will provide by herself costumes and stage accessories. And she will show impeccable memory. Between the actress and the author will born a subtle and obsessive bond.
