Franco Arminio lives and works in the eastern area of Irpinia. He is the inventor of a new form of literature, "landscapeology”, a discipline as
essential as it is inexistent. He can't manage to live in Bisaccia, nor can he manage to leave it. He wanders round remote, abandoned villages where most of the inhabitants have left, “to find life” and only the weakest have remained. He is a fisherman of desolation, and his peregrinations are a search for the pure and for authentic naturalness in a world that changed so completely after the 1980 earthquake
