The camera captures a random object; it is a detail, the fragment of a story, a reality to imagine. Perhaps evidence of a crime, assumptions of reality. In his lazy shots the photographer Hemmings captures, in a park, the unexpected depths of private life, betrayal and death. But maybe it's just the suggestion of the ephemeral nature of the image, evanescent like an fictitious game between two mimes. Antonioni suggests an investigation of the gaze and critique of vision: does art build and amplify the illusions? Is it possible to decipher the world as well as represent it?
