Synopsis
"Neapolis" is conceived as a “symphony” of the Parthnopean city. A montage of images set to music, it brings to light the city and its contrasts: from wonderful panoramic views to sequences showing only faces, to a series of sacred images, testifying to the importance of religion in the lives of Neapolitans. In a continual flux of contrasting “snapshots” and portraits of a disparate range of localities, such as the marvellous Posillipo and the surreal Secondigliano, "Neapolis" unfolds in a multitude of directions, presenting an insightful and emotive portrait of the city.
