Ferzan Ozpetek

Guest at NFF 2007

He worked as an assistant director with Massimo Troisi, Maurizio Ponzi, and other Italian directors. His directorial debut was in 1997 with Hamam (The Turkish Bath). The movie obtained considerable critic success and was later released in USA. Ozpetek is an openly gay director who deals with sexuality issues in several of his films.
