He made his directorial debut in 2009 with "Non fermarti", winner of the Film School Award in Naples. In 2012, "Una notte ancora" won at the Festival Omovies in Naples, took a prize at the New York Downtown festival and has been a finalist in Montreal, London, Barcelona, Toronto and Melbourne). In 2013, "Luigi e Vincenzo" (winner of the Florence Queer Festival, the "10 grands moments de solitude" in Paris and best story at Sorridendo Cinecittà) is often the only GLBT Italian short film in competition at prestigious Festivals such as the SanFrancisco Frameline, Outfest Los Angeles , NewFest NewYork, InsideOut Toronto and Miami.
