Description:
In this picture I have captured the feeling of oppression I felt me while watching the films "The Red Desert" and "The Eclipse" by Michelangelo Antonioni. The characters of his films are in a constant state of conflict with themselves and therefore with the world. They feel oppressed by what they are and the pain of living crushes them, preventing them from being able to find a way out of the surrounding darkness that projects into their psyches. I tried to depict in my photography that sense of oppression and crushing, the feeling of falling apart and being overwhelmed by your own being.
