The setting is Casablanca just after the Second World War. Nazi war criminal Heinrich Stubel has systematically
murdered three managers at the Hotel Casablanca. The murderer has passed himself as Count Pfferman and his aim is
to recover the stolen art works he has hidden in the hotel. So the only way to achieve this is to kill all the hotel managers
so he can take on the job himself. Former motel owner Mr. Kornblow is the latest manager to arrive. He has no idea why
he has been hired or that no one else would touch the job after the recent murders. The bumbling Kornblow takes charge
of the hotel and meets Corbaccio, owner of the Camel Yellow Company, who sets himself up as Kornblow's bodyguard,
assisted by Stubel's valet, Rusty. Stubel repeatedly attempts to kill Kornblow and then sends in the beautiful Beatrice
Reiner to try and have him fall in love with her. Stubel, having found the loot, is able to engineer his escape on a flight
from the airport and manages to have Kornblow temporarily arrested. But a minor aircraft disaster puts paid to his plan
and in the end everything is smoothed out
