Yuri Bykov was born in Russia, August 15th 1981. Graduate at The State Institute of Cinema (under the guide of Vladimir Grammatikov). He worked at the Moon Theatre, Checov Art Theatre and at TSATRA. Between 2005 and 2009 shut commercials and shorts (his short Testo received a prize at Kinotaur in 2009). Debuted in 2010 with his first long feature movie Live winning prizes in many festivals. The mayor was in completion at Napoli Film Festival in 2014.
