She was born in Paris on January 13th 1976. After a law course and after studying screenwriting at FEMIS, she directed three short films. Her first short film, Kitchen, selected as a competitor in Cannes in 2005, got the Savoia Gras Short Film. Before making her first full-length film, Alice Winocourcollaborated in the writing of Home directed by Ursula Meier (Critics’ Week 2008) and co-wrote the screenplay of Ordinary People (released in 2009) along with Vladimir Perisic, which was selected at the Semaine de la Critique in 2009.Augustineis her first full-length film. In 2014 she collaborated at the screenplay of Mustang, directed by DenizeGamzeErguven, presented at the Quinzainedesréalisateurs in 2015. Her second full-length film wasMaryland –Disorder, which participated at the Un certain regard in Cannesand at the Film Festival of Toronto in Canada as well.
