Giacomo Durzi was born in Rome in 1976. He graduated in Law at the University of Bologna. She attended the London Film School before graduating from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome. He began writing in newspapers and magazines, and then as a scriptwriter, director, and producer. Also publishing experiences for networks such as Nbc, Universal and Fox Channels Italy, focusing on channel launches, product selection, and Fox Life and History Channel productions. He held editorial consultancy roles, contributing to the development of new format and TV series for ITC Movie and Mediavivere-Endemol, and for foreign groups such as Tandem Communications. As author and director he has created programs for Fox Life, Rai and La7. Throughout the years he has written and directed documentaries of various genres, including Numero uno in lista, Una mattina di dicembre e Attacchi gemelli as well. As a screenwriter he has written mainly television productions of long and short series. He began his career at the newspaper L’Unità: first as a journalist in the Turin editorial office during the lead years; then, since 1984, as a political notorist and parliamentary journalist, in Rome. He works in the news magazine of Arnoldo Mondadori Editore since January 1988. Author of many books on post-war Italian "invisible" history (some translated abroad) and an expert in investigative journalism.
