Adam is a Christian Arab living in Nazareth - member of a minority that is disappearing in the Holy Land and the Middle East. His wife Lamia is strong, beautiful and progressive and directs a foundation for women's rights. When Adam learns that Lamia is pregnant and her father becomes seriously ill, he does a reveiw of his own life and realizes that he has not achieved much. Despite all his business realtions and ideas so far failed, he tries one last great undertaking. What could be better to sell in the Holy Land than the very air that the Virgin Mary breathed during her annunciation? But, as a priest suggests to Adam during a confession, to bring this product into the market he needs allies from the three cultures that dominate Nazareth - the Jewish politicians, the Muslim mafia boss and the Catholic Church officials. In a politically unstable world where religion is just another commodity, can the Holy Air be Adam's salvation or is it just an illusion?
