Summer 1993, chosen to represent Spain at the Academy Awards 2018. Tells the drama lived by Frida, a six year old girl who, left orphan, leaves Barcelona to move to the country house of her new adoptive parents, Uncle Esteve and his wife Marga. For Frida everything is new, the smells and colors of country life, the love of her new family and above all the relationship to be built with what will be her little sister, Anna. But despite the freedom of the country and the attention and care that uncles dedicate to her, the pain that the child keeps within herself emerges through increasingly problematic behaviors. Esteve and Marga, however, hoping for a possible balance, do not give up and do everything possible to allow Frida to deal with their emotions and process their mourning, along that sweet and painful summer.
