A lugubrious old man collects objects found in the street to put them to new use by making new things from them. One day he excels himself: he
makes a cine-camera that also records odours. He tries out his magic instrument and finds delight in the smells of nature, and of those of his neighbour, who, unwittingly, “unveils” a most particular secret.
