[6]Brief synopsis:
There are memories that are impossible to pacify: those of the "now" and those of the "then", continually turned towards the past, in another place of unanswered questions and debased justice. Ora, non qui is a documentary consisting of three stories, forty years on from the military coup, that demand to be remembered; Lelia, a former prisoner in the Villa Grimaldi torture centre; Pablo Neruda and his last days of life and Violeta, who for forty years has searched for the remains of her husband, murdered by Pinochet's "Caravan of Death" in the Atacama Desert.

[13]Brief synopsis:
Inaugurated in June 2012 at the Naples Archaeological Museum, the Christian Leperino exhibition "Landscapes of Memory" was an important episode for public discussion on the city of Naples. Giacomo Fabbroncino's video examines the Leperino installation: a large painting positioned behind the Toro Farnese and a room reconstructed in the museum with objects found in the abandoned Vigliena power station. The content is enhanced with input from art historians Silvia Evangelisti and Giovanna Cassese, architect Pica Ciamarra and anthropologist Riccardo Notte.

[22]Brief synopsis:
"Diversamente" is a documentary that tells of the courage needed to choose in life. Cristiano, Martha and Antonio are the protagonists of brave changes in the name of love, passion and freedom. Cristiano is a Venetian climber who gave up a "quiet life" to pursue his dreams on the sea cliffs of Positano. Martha, his partner, is a dancer who truly lives in dance, nature and the love of her two children. Antonio, a Neapolitan priest, is a modern, unstoppable warrior of the faith. The voices of the characters are brought together by commentary from musician Franco Battiato.

[27]Brief synopsis:
Thirty years after the arrest of Enzo Tortora and the infamous media walk of shame that he was forced to suffer, and twenty-five years after his tragic death, this documentary film is an attempt to rekindle the memory of a case that had the politicians of the time with their backs to the wall regarding the accountability of the Italian justice system. We asked the main characters of this documentary film: "After 30 years, what has changed?". And we were able to evoke the scandal that mired a good man.

Naples Fuorigrotta. Against the backdrop of the San Paolo stadium, under the home team supporters' end is the ser.t. drug addiction support centre. In this neighbourhood, which fills up with football fans on Sundays, there is a place that holds the stories of doctors and their patients. For over two years I went to the ser.t, listening to those who sought a way out of "addiction", defined by the doctors "the disease of desire".

[43]Brief synopsis:
This documentary short aims to shed light on the relational dysfunctions at the basis of psychological violence. What are the modes and processes that take place between those who suffer and those who commit this kind of violence? What are the effects? These true stories are paired with interviews with experts and practitioners; the personality types involved are represented through images taken from the myth of Echo and Narcissus.

[48]Brief synopsis:
Life in the "Terra dei fuochi/Land of fires" goes on every day; more than a million people live in the provinces of Naples and Caserta – areas now famous for the problem of dumping of toxic wastes. "Ogni singolo giorno" reverses the point of view so far adopted by the media. The central character in this story is man and not the toxic waste and its cargo of death. The documentary focuses on the Campanian citizen, his determination to fight the problems and the need to repossess his battered territory.

[53]Brief synopsis:
Posidonia is a film that seeks to recount the relationship between the (humanised) coast of a metropolis and its seabed, and the industrialisation of the surrounding area. The personal story of an underwater adventurer who, by an accident of history finds himself plumbing the depths of the seabed around Naples; add to this the transformation of a coastline that in less than a century has proven to be a potential gathering point for civilisation, science and technology. Posidonia is a journey through the resistances of Nature, acting like sand in an engine.

[58]Brief synopsis:
Ritratti abusivi is the story of an Italian suburb and its inhabitants: the community of Parco Saraceno housing estate. Cooped up in an environment of endless squalor for at least ten years, the squatter residents of the Park live caught between violence and the dream of a normal life. But the fate of Parco Saraceno is already decided. In a few years it will all be torn down to make way for a marina. Like a grotesque portrait made up of the faces and words of the inhabitants, the film follows the story of this community that has nowhere to live but an illegally constructed residential park in South Italy.

[61]Brief synopsis:
The starting point for a journey through the suburbs and other places, in search of the invisible signs that survive neglect and bad weather day after day; a genuine struggle against inevitable collapse. Our work documents the places that are unseen by people, that go unnoticed, but that are still at the neural pathways of communications and relationships, right in the middle of city life. Surviving the cultural apocalypse is possible by identifying the remains of these places and uncovering the sign that allows them to conquer a new sense. .

[65]Brief synopsis:
In many neighbourhoods of Naples the gathering of trees for the Sant’Antonio feast day bonfire is a tradition, a ritual, an adventurous game that street kids hand down from generation to generation. For the outside observer, it may just seem like random rowdiness and hooliganism until late at night, culminating in a dangerous fire too close to buildings.
We wanted to recount what happens in many streets of the city in January, trying as much as possible to take the kids' point of view.

[69]Brief synopsis:
Against the backdrop of the crisis, Solving looks at our country's history in the last few years from a strictly socio-economic point of view. Starting with the events surrounding the crisis and the associated suicides, Solving features interviews with a sociologist and two journalists and a collateral victim of the downturn, as well as a section with the camera unflinchingly trained on an entrepreneur active in the energy storage sector. The film aims to present an entirely new perspective on the small-medium Italian entrepreneur, relaying his voice with a message of hope.

Amidst the wonders of the most beautiful bay in the world, the best seafood in the world and the surreal pyramids of rubbish. [82]Brief synopsis:
An enclosure fenced off with corrugated steel sheets – home to four hundred Roma people – has become a symbol of environmental disaster in Campania. A temporary camp built by the Municipality of Giugliano at a cost of about four hundred thousand euro. Two inches of gravel and asphalt separate a human settlement from land that has been a dumping ground for all sorts of legal and illegal waste over the years. The camp's inhabitants are worried; they fear for the health of their children. For thirty years they have been settled in the hinterland north of Naples, and yet there has been no improvement in living conditions or the acquisition of rights.
