After losing his job as a bricklayer, Christian starts working as a forklift operator in a supermarket. Thus it finds itself in a new and unknown world: the long corridors, the bustle at the crates, the forklifts. Meet Rudi, Pallet-Klaus and Bruno. The latter takes him under his wing and shows him the tricks of the trade, becoming for him a paternal friend. Soon Christian will become an actual member of the friendly - and in his own way - family of this supermarket, in which he also knows the mysterious and married Marion. Between the two immediately triggers an attraction, a feeling, that like their lives, also unfolds in the melancholy and suspended spaces of the store.
