Parlaci dell’opera che presenti al Napoli Film Festival:
The sea became my subject because it perfectly embodies the feeling of infinite emptiness and almost deafening silence that I felt while watching this film and which materialises in Giuliana's line: "It never stops Never. Never, ever. I can't look at the sea for long. Otherwise I don't care about anything that happens on land anymore." It never stops and yet sometimes it seems so immobile in its immensity that it almost crushes us, as often happens in the landscapes of Antonioni, where the human being feels so infinitesimal compared to everything around him, that he might almost disappear.
