Chano Pozo, pseudonym of Luciano Pozo Gonzales, afro-Cuban bongo player with an international fame, realized a transcendent mix of the Cuban popular music and the North American jazz, so much that he joined Dizzy Gillespie who revolutionized jazz in 1947. It shows Chano Pozo’s life and career through depositions and his music. It honours his immortal action with the performance of the Manteca Project Group. He was born in 1915 and died in 1948.
