Turin, Giovanni Boarin is a businessman from Brescia (Aurelien Recoing); he’s always into his job but can find time for a lover. His wife Simona (Sandra Ceccarelli) has an argument with the Rumanian maid, accused of stealing her earrings. But Simona’s daughter defends Maria, the worker, and has a fight with her mother. Then Maria meets her ex-boyfriend Ianut again, out of jail, who lives with his brother Victor. Ianut and his friend Marco decide to make a big heist at the industrialist’s house. The movie had a very warm critic response compared to the debut. It was
presented during the Quinzaine des Realisateurs at the Cannes Film Festival.
