Born 1946 in the Salerno Province, he attended an acting school in Naples, and debuted in '72 in La Taberneria written by Giovan Battista Della Porta. He is then called by Eduardo De Filippo for the Mayor of Sanità alley and Exams never end. He founded with Tato Russo with the Cooperativa Teatrale Italiana d Mezzogiorno, "The Hypocrites", where he will perform his theatrical activity for 25 years. He was called by Giorgio Strehler to play Trinculo in Shakespeare's Tempest and in 1986, he started an artistic project based on the appreciation of Raffaele Viviani's work, setting up a series of shows and getting to convince the publisher Guida to publishing the opera omnia of the playwright. Candidate at the Premio Olimpicoper il Teatro and Premio Ubu for Poverty and Nobility with Carlo Giuffrè in 2002, is called by the Teatro Stabile in Palermo and remains there for 7 years. In 2016 he founded the theater company Attori Indipendenti and among the last theatrical works is Luca Cupiello by Eduardo De Filippo and he takes care of the direction. At the Cinema we remember Death of a Neapolitan Mathematician by Mario Martone, Package, Double Package and Counterpackage by Nanni Loy and One Man Up by Paolo Sorrentino, not forgetting that in 1998 he was among the protagonists of The Dinner by Ettore Scola.
