Claus Drexel, nato il 24 giugno 1968, è uno sceneggiatore e regista tedesco che lavora principalmente in Francia. Di origine bavarese, Claus Drexel è arrivato a Grenoble all'età di tre anni. Da adolescente era appassionato di football americano, giocando in 2^ e 1^ divisione francese con i Grenoble Centaurs. Dopo gli studi scientifici e tecnici all'Università di Grenoble, si trasferisce a Parigi per studiare cinema. Ha lavorato prima come tecnico del suono, montatore e direttore della fotografia, per poi passare alla regia.

Smadar and Mirit are two eighteen year old conscript soldiers. Their job is to patrol the streets of Jerusalem and check the identity cards of any Palestinians they come across. As they carry out their task the two girls reluctantly get to know each other, talking of their disappointments in love, the ups and downs of relationships with girlfriends. All the details of their lives, all their dreams and illusions blend in with everyday life.
