He was born 16 August 1963 in Gera, Germany. After practicing as a director at the DEFA studios in Potsdam-Babelsberg and working as an assistant director for Günter Reisch, he studied at the Hochschule für Film und Fernsehen „Konrad Wolf“, also in Potsdam-Babelsberg. His directing credits include Cloud 9, Summer in Berlin, Grill Point and Night Shapes. His film Stopped on Track premiered at the Un Certain Regard section at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival, where it won the Prize of Un Certain Regard. Dresen is known for his realistic style, which gives his films a semi-documentary feel.

Andrzej Wajda, born in Suwałki (Poland) on March 6, 1926, was the interpreter, with his works, of the vicissitudes of the tormented history of his country. The son of a Polish army cavalry officer killed in the notorious Katyń massacre of 1940, he still takes part in the resistance against the Nazi occupation of Poland. He enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow and later at the High School of Cinema in Łódź, where he graduated in 1954.

All'età di 17 anni ha scritto e diretto il cortometraggio Il Teatro dei Ricordi con Jean Sorel, proiettato alla 44a edizione di Giffoni Film Festival come evento speciale Nel 2017 pubblica il suo primo romanzo La Città del Vizio di Guida Editori. Attualmente frequenta l'Accademia di Belle Arti di Napoli.

Nel 2019 il suo secondo corto L'attesa, con l'attrice Lucianna De Falco ottiene riconoscimenti ai festival. Nel 2020 si diploma in cinema fotografia e televisione all’Accademia di Belle Arti di Napoli. Nel 2021 gira il suo terzo corto Buon compleanno Noemi in concorso a Cortina e viene chiamata da Bronx Film per conto di Fondazione Melanoma Onlus a dirigere il corto Amici per la pelle.

Born in Naples in 1988. In 2009 he wrote and directed "Domenica m’innamoro", a short with Giovanni Rienzo. The film was a finalist at the Napoli Film Festival. After attending workshop led by Marco Bellocchio, he moved to Milan in 2012. There he enrolled at civic cinema and television schools to study directing. He worked on several commercials (the last for Vorwerk). In 2013, with a budget of three hundred euro, he enlisted the help of other students of the school and wrote and directed the short film "Bulbasaur", a finalist at the Lugano International Film Festival.
