Born in Nouarnenez, Brittany, France. He studied at Lycée Jean-Marie le Bris. Debut with the short Love is dead in 2008, winning the Alpe d'Huez International Comedy Film Festival. The following year in partnership with Olivier Chapelle runs the short Kharma battle that will be followed in 2011 by the solitary short film Violence elle seule. The first feature film of 2016 has the same title as its first short, Love is dead.
È nata il 1 agosto 1982 a Lione, in Francia, da una famiglia di origine tunisina, ed è cresciuta a Vénissieux, nella periferia di Lione. Suo padre è un elettricista e sua madre è responsabile di una cucina. Erige frequenta l'unico cinema del quartiere. Dopo aver conseguito il diploma di maturità, si trasferisce in Nord America per formarsi nel cinema. A causa dei costi impara l’inglese l'inglese a San Francisco e Economia a Montreal mantenendosi con piccolo lavori. Ritorna poi in Europa, trova lavoro in una banca in Lussemburgo.
