On the night of 12 and13 May 2008 dozens of petrol bombs rained onto the Roma camp at Ponticelli, a zone in the eastern periphery of Naples. The camp was completely destroyed and the fires continued for three days and nights. Hundreds of the camp's inhabitants disappeared
without trace. No one has been convicted for the attack.

Made his debut with the short film "La currybonara", which has won sixteen awards and was broadcast by RAI and Sky. His second short, the comedy "I frutti sperati", has been awarded eleven times so far. In July 2014 is released his third short, "Vistamare", shot with non-professional actors, and presented in competition at the Giffoni Film Festival. As a screenwriter he has worked on "Distretto di polizia", written the web series "Oltre le pietre" and was twice a Premio Solinas finalist.
Il titolo del mio film Faber Navalis significa in latino Costruttore Navale: parole in una lingua antica per pronunciare una dichiarazione d'amore pubblica per un mestiere antico.
Ho realizzato questo film nella speranza di stimolare una discussione sull'importanza della preservazione dei saperi tecnologici delle tradizioni marinare e delle imbarcazioni in legno (classiche, da lavoro, storiche, ecc.). Sento come dovere morale mobilitarmi per il recupero e la salvaguardia del patrimonio marittimo mondiale e quello della nostra penisola.
Born in Palermo, they began as writers and consultants for production and distribution companies such as Fandango and Filmauro. They wrote the script for Ogni volta che te ne vai (Every time you go away) in 2004 and made their first short film Rita in 2010. The little film has been around the world, shown and awarded in many festivals. In 2013 their debut feature film Salvo was shown at the Cannes Festival Critics' Week and won two awards. The film has since been distributed in more than 25 countries.
