Ispirato alla drammatica vicenda del giornalista Giancarlo Siani. Giancarlo lavora a Torre Annunziata, provincia di Napoli, nella redazione de Il Mattino. La sua specializzazione è in Cronaca Nera e quindi avvenimenti collegati alla camorra. Giancarlo sta indagando sulle partecipazioni dei politici ad azioni della malavita. In particolare la sua inchiesta si sofferma sulla strage compiuta dagli uomini di Bardellino. I suoi articoli hanno l’effetto voluto e gli indagati vengono arrestati e condannati.
Un mondo chiuso, circondato dall’acqua, dove tutti gli abitanti lavorano nella raccolta delle vongole. È Goro, in fondo al Delta del Po. Qui vivono i protagonisti di “Fortuna granda”,un gruppo di adolescenti iscritti a un istituto professionale aperto per combattere la dispersione scolastica. I ragazzi si muovono cercando il proprio spazio dentro un destino che sembra già determinato. È con i loro occhi che il film guarda alla comunità degli adulti, ai padri che li aspettano in laguna, alla scuola che prova a trattenerli, a un futuro che pare lì da sempre.
Life can be very difficult in the suurbs of Rome with a failed marriage and a 8-year-old girl, like Barbara, to grow, even if your name is Fortunata (Lucky). Determination, willpower, daily sacrifice, combined with a dream, are, however, what make the difference.
Fortunata makes the hairdresser at home, in black, but would like to emancipate and grow professionally to such a degree as to put on a self-styled hairdressing activity. In view of this goal it is ready and willing to do everything. A raw and evocative photograph of a Rome in dark colors, which remembers, in part, Don’t Move.

All through the night before the funeral, the two seek together a way of coming to terms with their sorrow and resolving their longstanding and bitter differences in the face of this tragedy. Because they are young and still have a whole lifetime ahead.

La macchina fotografica coglie casualmente un oggetto; è un dettaglio, il frammento di una storia, unarealtà da immaginare. Forse l’indizio di un crimine, ipotesi di realtà. Il fotografo Hemmings raccoglie negli scatti oziosi tratti all’interno di un parco delle inattese profondità di vita privata, tradimento, morte. Ma forse è solo la suggestione dell’effimero dell’immagine, evanescente come un gioco immaginario tra due mimi. Antonioni suggerisce un’indagine dello sguardo e critica della visione: l’arte costruisce ed amplifica le illusioni?
