Gaetano Ippolito è un filmaker indipendente. Come produttore ha realizzato il documentario "La Domitiana" (2008) di Romano Montesarchio, andato in onda su rai 3 nel programma doc 3, sulla bbc nel programma my country, e su orf (Austria). Ha prodotto il documentario "Eclissi parziale" presentato al mercato hot docs di Toronto nel 2010. Come regista è autore del documentario "Inside Africa" vincitore alla festa del documentario "hai visto mai?" del 2012 di Luca Zingaretti, e di "Please", sempre girato in Africa.
