Benigno è un uomo maturo che ha raggiunto tutto quello che ha messo in vita: ha successo negli affari, in una bella casa e in tre figli. Tutto il suo ambiente sembra idilliaco, ma tutto può cambiare in un momento e prendere un turno inaspettato.
A doll repairer is at work in his shop. He leaves at the end of the day and we hear a buzzing among the pieces of the dolls not yet put together. A fire starts and the shop goes up in flames. The passers-by (including Polanski) do not notice it.
Luisa and Alberto, forced to move with their baby in the country, must soon realize that rural life is not so idyllic as they could imagine. Among the difficulties to adapt themselves to a new life, the work problems the desire of Luisa for a second maternity, the couple is looking for the best way to overcome the crisis of the moment.
Elia Venezia is a psychoanalyst who also treats her patients through hypnosis. His laziness touches Oblomov's languor, his stinginess not only deals with money but also vital energies, which he maintains as if they were to serve him for some later existence. His relationship with his wife, Giovanna, from which he is separated in the house (but the apartment in which he lives is strategically divided in two), are characterized by passivity: she washing his linen, cooking hm polpettone and on Fridays dragging him at the Theatre.
She was born in Florence in 1968 and graduated in Cinema and in Human Geography. She has written and directed several fiction and animation short films.
