Nene is instead a successful artist who lives with Lorenzo, a frustrated painter who is envious of his wife.

A documentary made during the fi lming of “Marpiccolo” by Alessandro di Robilant. The director and production company wanted to work in the Paolo VI area, the poorest part of the Taranto periphery. Their idea was to get local residents involved as actors and extras and use their houses and spaces as settings.
Due anziani coniugi soffrono di una grande crisi, dovuta quasi esclusivamente all'insofferenza di lui che pare completa mancanza di affetto o comprensione per la moglie. Lei malata di cuore diventa nevrotica per il fatto che l'uomo ha adottato un gatto (Graffio) a cui dedica tutte le sue attenzioni ignorando la moglie e andando spesso da un'amica per cambiare aria. Un giorno lei decide di abbandonare il gatto ma lo fa in modo tenero, in un supermercato proprio vicino al reparto pescheria cosi' che il gattino si mangia del pesce direttamente dal bancone.
