Jorge is a student who inherits the doorman craft from his father once he is struck by a stroke. His days spent among the care given to the infant parent and the pursuit of a better use. Daily solitude is filled only by the presence of an Israel's friend, uncertain of his sexual identity and by Natalie's affection, his first love in the childhood . The routine in which Jorge is "imprisoned" clashes with the life of his brother Antonio, who is detained and can’t generate children.

BABIS MAKRIDIS
Nato a Kastoria in Grecia il 1 gennaio 1970. Nel 2005 il suo cortometraggio L’ultimo fachiro vince il premio come miglior esordiente al Drama Short Film Festival in Grecia. Esordisce nel lungometraggio con L del 2012 seguito da Miserere nel 2018 e da Birds (Or How to be One) nel 2020.
Babis Makridis è nato in Grecia nel 1970. Ha studiato cinema alla Stavrakos Film School. Il suo cortometraggio "The Last Fakir"(2005) ha vinto il Premio per l’esordio al Drama Short FIlm Festival, in Grecia.
“L” è il suo debutto nel lungometraggio. Nel 2019 è stato distribuito in Italia “Miserere” (in originale “Oiktos/Pity”), presentato a Sundance e al Torino Film Festival. “Miserere” ha vinto il premio come miglior film presso la Hellenic Film Academy (corrispettivo degli Oscar greci) ed ha riscosso entusiasmo nelle competizioni festivaliere di numerosi paesi.
Sergio, uomo solo e all’apparenza burbero, si ritrova improvvisamente a condividere la sua quotidianità con un uovo cascatogli una sera in giardino che darà poi vita a quello che sarà per lui un “bambino”. La vita riserverà un duro colpo ai due che daranno prova di essere una vera e propria famiglia, in cui ci si prende cura l’uno dell’altro.

The ploy works and Orville is satisfied, believing that the singer's happy liaison with his presumed hostess will lead to some success for Orville's songs.
