“Dal corpo allo spazio abitato” investigates and interprets the relationship between body, movement and space. The fi lm traces the coursework project of a group of architecture students in Salerno, starting with the making of a series of videos focusing on life on the campus. The entire work develops through the interrelation of film and architecture, punctuated by phrases, stories and graphics that give a creative, sensual and physical input rather than an abstract, intellectual one.

Damian Philippe Pettigrew è nato a Québec nel 1963 da madre psicologa e padre chirurgo. Dopo aver studiato letteratura inglese, francese e italiana a Bishop's, Oxford e Glasgow, Pettigrew è diventato sceneggiatore e regista. I suoi documentari su Eugène Ionesco, Italo Calvino, Moebius e Balthus hanno ricevuto numerosi premi e riconoscimenti. La grande notorietà presso il pubblico italiano arriva di sicuro con la sua opera del 2002, Federico Fellini: Sono un gran bugiardo, vincitore del premio come Miglior Documentario agli European Film Awards
